The Skidder is the work horse of the logging operation. The one machine that is continuously in motion moving timber from the fell site to the landing, where it is staged near the loader.
The Fellerbuncher or cutter fells the trees at the jobsite. Trees are cut and staged for the skidders to drag to the landing
The Loader is the muscle and end stage in the woods. Trees staged by the Skidder are delimbed, cut to length and loading onto the trucks for transportation to the mill
